CONTEXT
The shop needed a distinctive identity that moved away from typical handcrafted or nostalgic coffee-world cues.
OBJECTIVE
A flexible, instantly recognisable identity for the shop, packaging, social media and merchandise.
CONCEPT
The name MUGSHOT combines mug as a coffee cup with the visual language of police photography; grids, numbering, sharp contrasts and direct imagery shape the brand world.
MY ROLE
Brand idea, name staging, visual direction, logo application, typography, colour palette, packaging, product presentation and mockups.
DESIGN SYSTEM
A restrained colour system, bold typography and recurring markers applied across packaging, cups, posters, social media and merchandise.
OUTCOME
A cohesive, usable brand identity for the former shop; today, the project documents the complete brand build.
